A little sprezzatura. A lot of instinct.

I believe taste is the most intimate part of artistic direction. It lives in the details we notice, the things we leave untouched, and the feeling we follow before we can explain why.

Taste can never truly be replicated — only interpreted. Every interpretation becomes another point of view, another possibility, another work of art. To me, that is the beauty of it: a never-ending cycle of creation.

My practice is idiosyncratic by nature. Drawn to the unexpected gesture, the imperfect frame, and the instinctive composition, it finds beauty in what feels unplanned. I am drawn to sprezzatura — the art of making something considered feel effortless.

BY CASSIA is both an archive and an ongoing experiment: personal, curious, and entirely my own.
